GALESBURG — Local musicians Pippi Ardennia and Daniel Leahy are hosting a series of pop-up concerts this summer. On Sunday, they’ll perform from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Craft Butcher and Deli, 41 S. Seminary St. in downtown Galesburg.

 

The event is the third installment in the duo’s “Six Months Last Sundays” series. Ardennia and Leahy started the pop-up concerts in Galesburg after being part of a similar series in the Los Angeles area.

 

The concept is that an event, in this case a concert, “pops up” in a unique place and without much advertising.
